1. All Dioceses, except the Diocese of Boac and Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose, are encouraged to take the same boat going to Calapan. Everone is expected to be at Batangas Port at 10:00am. There will be a Youth Assistant in Batangas Pier who will assist you in your travel. Please prepare approx. P 210.00 per participant for Sea Travel (one way, including Terminal Fee). An Introduction to Camp Orientation will be given during Sea Travel.
2. Since Boac and San Jose will arrive at Oriental Mindoro via Pinamalayan and Bulalacao, respectively, delegates from the two diocese as well as the Local Delegates will immediately proceed to Holy Infant Academy, Sto. Niño Cathedral Parish for Registration and distribution of Kits.
3. Participants are requested to bring their Personal Bible since many activities will require Bible-reading.
4. Everyone will be billeted in different families to experience the hospitality of Mindoreño Families. We advise everyone to share some moments with them. Mindorenos are fond of sharing stories about life. Check our schedule so that you can maximize your stay with your Foster Families (bonding time na 'to!). Also, don't forget to bring a simple token or remembrance for them.
5. Also, dont forget to bring something to share to your newfound friends. And bring some baon with you for your camp and local souvenirs, available during the camp.
6. You might need to know what's in and what's not in Calapan City. Please visit our City Website: www.cityofcalapan.gov.ph to know more about the City (Places to Visit, Anti-Jaywalking Policy, etc.).
7. For those who wish to stay in Puerto Galera or in other tourist destinations in Oriental Mindoro, please inform our office as early as possible so that we can assist you in arranging travel and accommodations for your group.
