In line with the international celebration of the 2000th Birth Anniversary of St .Paul, the theme for QUEMARLABARO Regional Youth Camp 2009 is Idol ko si San Pablo!, and the official bible text for this camp is “It is no longer I who lives, but it is Christ in me.” (Gal. 2:20).
Expecting to attract 800 participants and volunteers, the Camp will be hosted by the Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan – Diocesan Commission on Youth and happen on April 21-24, 2009 at Calapan City.
The following the objectives of the Camp, written in Tagalog:
- makilala ng mga kabataan ang buhay at misyon ni San Pablo at maging inspirasyon sa Kristiyanong Pagmimisyon
- magkaroon ang mga kabataan ng malalim na pagmamahal sa Salita ng Diyos na siyang gabay sa buhay-paglalakbay
- maibahagi at maitalaga ng mga kabataan ang sarili sa pagsasagawa ng misyon ni Kristo
